Who is LetRecord for?

Self-managing private landlords in England, especially those with one to four properties. It helps organise property records and case evidence. It is not a rent collection or accounting service.

Can I use it on my phone or tablet?

Yes. Open app.letrecord.uk in your browser. The responsive web app also works on a computer. An internet connection is required. You can bookmark it or use your browser's home-screen shortcut option where available; installation is not required.

Do I need a card for the free trial?

No. Registration does not ask for card details. The launch trial offer is 30 days. Automated trial expiry and paid subscriptions are not active in v11.5, and no automatic charge is taken. Any future payment or access changes will be explained before activation.

Does an Evidence Pack guarantee a legal outcome?

No. It is a structured snapshot of recorded information and linked file references. It does not certify compliance, independently verify statements or guarantee acceptance in a dispute or proceeding. Take professional advice when needed.

Does it automatically import WhatsApp or emails?

No. You add relevant files, notes and communications to the case. Tenant reporting links can receive issue submissions. Only upload information you are entitled to process and keep.

Can tenants see my whole workspace?

A tenant reporting link is scoped to one property and allows submissions; it does not expose your workspace. A report-sharing link gives access to the selected report until it expires or is revoked. Treat both types of link carefully.

Can I take my records out of LetRecord?

The app provides workspace export and case Evidence Pack downloads. Original evidence files remain separately downloadable with appropriate account access. A PDF does not bundle every original file: review the evidence register and keep copies of what you need.

What if I have more than four properties?

The published launch offers cover one property and up to four properties. A larger-portfolio paid plan has not been announced. Do not select a smaller offer for a portfolio that exceeds it.
